Fats - fat burners

Fat burners are the modern 'miracle', take a pill and it burns fat... WOOP!!

With n array of claims:

"increase metabolism"

"help your body burn more fat"

"give you more energy"

"help you reach your goals"

This is all in essence true, with exercise and proper nutrition you will reach your goals in time and its natural that with an additional supplement that you will make extra progress.

However these pills are made out to make you into your 'ideal' not fat person, which might happen in the longer term, but the claims of kgs and kgs of weight loss in a matter of weeks is simply outrageous.

As you know so far, losing weight slowly and safely keeps it off, so then 'burning fat' so quickly, is it safe? Generally no.

Fat burners are generally made up of caffeine and then a variety of other 'chemicals' ;; An example being the popular T5 fat burners

T5 are popular, but are known to have a lot of side effects - obviously these vary person to person.

In T5 you will find:

Caffeine - usual stimulant found in coffee, sports drinks etc...

Bitter Orange - should be used to help with appitite suppression.

Guarana - a caffeine extract that asks as a diuretic (a process of removing water from the body)

Green tea - usual herb to help stimulate the body.

All of these do one simple thing - increase your body temprature. Which will generally help you lose some weight as you don't 'cool down'

However to bind these things together in the pill, a lot of chemicals have to be used to get it all to work.

That is where the side effects come in:

Headaches

Migraines

Chest pain

insomnia

anxiety attacks

Heart beat arrhythmias

liver damage

kidney damage

So these are just a few, and just from one 'brand' but as they are all generally made the same, the side effects are generally similar or can be worse depending on the 'make up' of the pill!
